Portraits of a True Southern Gentleman by Shelli Pabis Photography
Recently I had the pleasure of taking portraits of my friend Bob. He needed one because he’s an upcoming speaker at the 2011 Harriet Austin’s Writer Conference. What a pleasure it was to meet him at the beautiful Botanical Garden in Athens and spend a morning taking photos.
I met Bob many years ago when I taught a class at the Georgia Center. He’s worn many hats in his life, but now he’s a writer and researcher. He’s inquisitive, insightful and a true southern gentlemen. It’s always a pleasure to have a conversation with him.
