Grasshopper
I’ve been going through my archives with the goal of sorting and deleting some of my old photos. In doing so, I’ve found a few gems that I forgot about, including this photo of a grasshopper caught in a rainstorm.
I enjoy photographing small things. The tiny details that I have to kneel to see. Having children has given me another chance to slow down and take notice of the wonderful world we inhabit.
Another inspiration for me is Alex Wild’s photography. He combines his career in science with his love of photography. This is something I want to show my children they can do with their lives – think outside the box and combine their interests.
