I’m sharing photos from the Agro Cycle Tour that I photographed last week, and the last stop in the tour was a place dear to my heart, The William Harris Homestead. (You may recall, I’ve photographed the homestead before.) This was where the cyclists ended their day for a fun festival with good food, shopping, and mingling with the families whose farms and businesses they had just toured. Many of the cyclists families joined them here too. There was some awesome bluegrass music and demonstrations too, such as the sheep herding demonstration that I photographed. If you have never been to the Harris Homestead, it’s is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. And if you enjoy good food, you’ve got to join one of these tours offered by Georgia Food Tours. (Psst! You can take the tour by car too!)
This wraps up my series on the tour. If you’re interested, the full gallery is open for viewing.
